The dial and the work marked 'Grohe - London - 7 Wigmore Street'. The work also marked 'J.B.D.' and with the number '26233'.

 

Condition: (UV-checked)

- In general: superficial wear to the gilt decoration.

- The clock (marked and inscribed 'Minton' on the base): the tail of the right dolphin figure and the lower part of the left dolphin figure restored. The top of the right foot of the lady reglued. Front cover missing, back cover missing the glass.

- The 'male' side ornament: the base with multiple hairlines, some with overpaint and restoration. The upper part of the putto totally restored. The clotch of the man with some touch-ups. Some baking-related tension lines. Most probably the flute missing. A small hairline visible in the reed and on the top.

- The 'femal' side ornament: the base with a crack and multiple hairlines, the top of the attribute of the angel on the right side missing, the wings of the putto missing, the little finger of the right hand of the lady and the top of the reed restored.
