The inside with an exposition label: 'L. Jourdain, A Gand - Exposition de 1847'. Jourdain, living on the Coupure (Ghent), was specialized in applying gilding and he also was a restorer of paintings, as a porcelain card in the collection of the Ghent University Library nicely demonstrates (link).
