- The pair of vases and covers in general in good condition, with wear to the gilt decoration.

- One vase in good condition.

- One vase with a chip to the top rim and two hairlines running from the top rim to the start of the shoulder. The inside with a baking-related tension line, not visible on the outside. Crazing of the glaze all-over.

- One of the covers with negligible touch-ups to the lion and the rim.

- One of the covers with a restored rim chip of ca. 13 cm, a small 8 mm chip to the restored rim and the lion reattached.

- Negligible enamel loss and superficial staining.
