A Chinese rectangular hongmu wooden scholar's chest with bronze mounts, 19th C.

H 11,5 - L 21 - D 15 cm

Condition: 
- In general in good condition, with the usual traces of use, the normal wear, stains and negligible scratches.
- A small loss on the back edge of the lid and at the bottom left of the front.
- Four small tenons are missing. 
- Wear and flaking of the interior lacquer finish.
- The metal fasteners are coming slightly loose.
