François Thango (1936-1981): Dream world, oil on board

80 x 40 cm

The Congolese painter Thango is considered one of the pioneers of painting in Central Africa. He exhibited at the World's Fair in Brussels in 1958 as a representative of the Poto-Poto school and received the UNICEF Prize in 1961.
