Jean-Baptiste Collet (11 July 1809 - 17 October 1882) married on the 24th of June 1858 in Brussels Caroline Joséphine Isabelle De Zangré (19 June 1829 - 29 April 1873), the daughter of Batholomeus Conradus Carolus Hieronimus De Zangré and Jeanne Catherine Toillier.

Jozef Quisthoudt (Antwerp, 1883 - Ypres, 1953) was trained at the Antwerp Art Academy and subsequently worked for a time in the studio of J. De Vriendt. From 1914 to 1922, he lived in The Hague, building a reputation as a portrait painter. In 1923, he moved to Ypres, primarily to work as a portrait painter.
