Chinese school: Five woodcut pages from an album, probably 17th C., and the book 'Les estampes du studio des dix bambous'

From the 'Shizhuzhai shuhua pu' (Manual of Calligraphy and Painting from the Ten Bamboo Studio), edited by Hu Zhengyan during the Ming dynasty around 1633. The prints depicts flowers and leaves using a technique called 'bone-less' washes combined with outlines filled with colour. The writings containing additional poetic texts describing the botanical subjects. Different seals, artist's marks or collection stamps. Including a French version of an art book titled 'The Prints of the Ten Bamboo Studio: A Chinese Masterpiece' (transl.), edited by Joseph Vedlich and published by Crescent Books in 1979.

Condition: (UV-checked)
- General condition for all: the usual negligible creases of the paper, with a vertical crease in the middle of the paper (previously part of a book), some foxing.
- The sheets are partially stuck to the paper at the corners except for one.
- One with ink on the mirror page due to a stamp.
