- Minor flaking.
- The canvas is glued on panel and nailed along the edges.
- The upper edge is damaged, with flaking and areas of weakness.
- The canvas has been restored, but UV light reveals very little restoration, most likely due to an anti-UV varnish.
- The lower section shows that the canvas was probably folded and has been more extensively restored in this area.
- Under good lighting, the work reveals some very fine details in the execution of the details, such as the embroidery on the clothing.
