Cylindrical with a kick-in base, supported on a foot ring, of green-tint, enamelled with the 'Quaternion Eagle' of the Holy Roman Empire, the double-headed eagle, crowned, the spread wings reserved with the shields of the Imperial States, each with an inscribed banner, below the motto 'Das Heilige Römische Reich Mit Sampt Seinen Glidern'. Probably based on a very similar example dated '1593' and sold in London in 2012 (Christie's, London, Sale 'The European Connoisseur - 500 Years Decorative Arts Europe', Dec. 6, 2012, lot 147, link).
