Work: 52,1 x 37,3 cm

Frame: 66,9 x 53,4 cm

The chamber pot with traces of a monogram (P...?).

The work is sometimes referred to as 'The king is drinking', 'Epiphany' or 'Carnaval'. Based on a work by Pieter Brueghel or the 'Helse Brueghel' (link).  Brueghel, in turn, was most probably inspired by Marten van Cleve I (1527-1577/81, link).
