Joke Neyrinck (Jook Doodle, 1982): The love for music, bronze with acrylic and varnish, (2023)

Joke Neyrinck is the wife of the Flemish singer Augustijn Vermandere, son of Willem. Augustijn was given a violin by his parents as a child, but at that moment he had no love for the instrument. Only later did he catch the music bug. This passage from her husband's life inspired Neyrinck for the work offered here. 

On January 27, 2023, Joke Neyrinck (Jook Doodle) appeared in the popular Belgian television program 'Iedereen beroemd' (link).
