- The canvas with a vertical stitch as visible on the back, slightly showing on the front.
- Top, left and right, a crease line is somewhat visible yet not disturbing at ca. 5 cm of the frame's inner edge.
- Three patches to the back where punctures are restored and retouched.
- Typical small superficial touch-ups throughout, as well as minor superficial dirt which could easily be removed by a basic cleaning.
- The frame is in very good condition.

- The painting in general in very good condition, with the usual wear to the borders due to the framing and the usual minor damage to the borders of the panel.
- The UV-light shows foremost the typical colour of the varnish, with retouching here and there in different phases. Due to the varnish the nature of the restoration is not easy to determine. Edge at bottom quite severe overpainted. Certain contours are clearly enhanced.
- Foot of Jesus with minor flaking paint (second toe).
