A polychrome and gilt wood oratory with the Coronation of the Virgin amidst cherubs, Italy or Spain, 17th C.

The central scene represents the Coronation of the Virgin surrounded by cherubs. The Virgin's crown is executed in silver. The outer frame forms an altar with a baluster barrier. Its pilasters are decorated with angels bearing capitals and cherub heads. The a molded arched arcade forms the central niche which encompasses the whole.
