Condition: (UV-checked)
- Slight firing defects and slight defects in the glazing.
- Lids: one has touch-ups to the black rim with a related overspring. The reason for this is not apparent. The second has a firing  baking defect of at the ‘chien de fö’, a chip on the rim, and slight flaking in the black rim.
- Vase: one has damage to the neck which has been partially restored. There are slight losses and flaws in the glaze. The rest of the vase’s body is in good overall condition. The second vase has a horizontal glaze line (only visible on the outside) of approximately 9 cm in a reserved area featuring a phoenix at the top of the vase. A second large horizontal glaze line, approximately 24 cm long, runs from the two birds on a branch to the end of the large reserved area (also only visible on the outside). Other smaller lines are visible in the glaze.
