Bearing the mark ‘Procédé Jacomet’: the ‘Jacomet procedure is a combination of traditional printing techniques (lithography, phototype, engraving, screen printing and, one of the oldest, letterpress) and stencil printing (which is the oldest of all; see Lascaux/Chauvet and the handprints).
With the M.R. stamp (Lugt 1915a) for the Rodin Museum, as well as the ink number 4428.
Added to this work is the book: 'Rodin beeldhouwwerken', ed. Phaidon, 1956, with an introduction by Sommerville Story.
