The 25th vol. was a festive ed. and was published with a special hardback in blue with diagonal band 'T zal wel gaan'. From the 7th year (1863), a portrait of one of the professors was depicted annually. Not published in 1858-1860. The Language-loving Student Society ''T zal wel gaan' (abbreviated: 't Zal) is a liberal student association in Ghent, and the oldest existing student association in Flanders. The society was founded on February 21, 1852 by three students from the Ghent atheneum, including Julius Vuylsteke. In 1854 the first Almanac was published. Under the slogan 'Klauwaard en Geus', it was a progressive, strongly Flemish-feeling and eminently liberal association that played a leading role in the Dutchization of education.
