The Belgian painter Anna De Weert (1867-1950) was the granddaughter of the famous writer Karel Lodewijk Ledeganck (1805-1847) and the niece of painter Felix Cogen (1838-1907). She was a student of Emile Claus (1849-1924) and she is considered as belonging to 'De Latemse School'.

 

Condition: (UV-checked)

- The work in very good and hangable condition, with minor touch-ups in both corners (not at all touching the central scene). In the left top corner a small restored tear.
